In May a non-stop flight with outsize gear was performed from Yakutsk to Moscow.
The flight was booked in the interest of the Yakutsk Power Station, one of the youngest state-of-the-art power station in the Russian Far East, commissioned in 2017.
Onboard was airlifted General Electric (GE) LM6000 turbine, famous for its two-speed low and high pressure system.
The total weight of the turbine is 13 526 kg.
The loading, with the utmost accurate treatment of the valuable piece of cargo, took up to 3 hours. It was performed under the supervison of the Aviacon’s loadmasters with the onboard cranes as per the loadplan elaborated in company’s HQ and approved by the charterer before aircraft positioning to the airport of loading.
