Oil and Gas air cargo charter

Aviacon won the trust of major Russian and international energy, service and engineering companies that many times handed over their high-technology equipment for fast and safe airlift, with  General Electric, Exxon Mobil Corporation, Schlumberger, Total,  Novatek, Rosneft among them.

We also come to the rescue when the time for repair and delivery of expensive equipment is the most critical for the urgent resumption of the production interrupted as a result of an accident.

There are many pieces of project cargo much-needed to launch production lines in hard-to-reach areas worldwide in our portfolio.

One of the recent largest and most significant project in this area was the air bridge set up to airlift project equipment for the timely launch of the first phase of the northernmost  Russian state-of-the-art LNG  plant near the port of Sabetta. During 2015-2017, over 80 flights were carried out with Aviacon fleet of IL76s. Within 18 months more than 2400 tons of cargo was moved from mainland Russia to the northern part of Yamal Peninsula, beyond the Arctic Circle.

For 25 years It has performed flights to/from/via more than 850 airports in 161 countries of the world.

IL76 – a  versatile ramp freighter

IL76  cargo hold is fully-pressurized and has a titanium floor with fold-down roller conveyors.

Main cargo deck is equipped with 4 overhead cranes running the full length of the cargo hold, each of which with lifting capacity of 3,000 kg, and two winches.

A hydraulically-operated rear loading ramp itself can be used as a lift, with a capacity of up to 30,000 kg. It allows roll-on and roll-off loading of wheeled and tracked vehicles.

Although the cargo  deck is compatible with international standard sea containers and pallets, the plane, originally designed as a military transport, proved  to be also ideal  for loading offloading of rolling stock, trucks, vehicles,  out- and oversized gears, dangerous goods (including UN Class 1 cargo).
