Urgent shipment for FIFA World Cup
Two IL76s from Aviacon fleet delivered urgent construction materials from Bangkok to Doha.
The shipment consisted of 88 tons of material required for one of the sports facilities due to be ready for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
IL76 is a reliable airlift solution when it comes to heavy and oversized cargo like long crated pipes often used in construction.
The ongoing pandemic suggests charter airline to face multiple challenges. Even in areas, routinely handled in previous times, such as processing of landing permits, crew rest, loading/offloading arrangements with local handlers, etc. The challenging environment of 2020 made us work round the clock ensuring charters operating smoothly and on schedule.
All 88 tons were delivered to the site to the complete satisfaction of our client.
