Aviacon Zitotrans had transported Sputnik V vaccine to Venezuela
In December 2021 Aviacon delivered to Venezuela ‘Sputnik V’, Russia-made coronavirus vaccine, developed by N. F. Gamaleya Federal Research Center for Epidemiology & Microbiology.
Morning Dec 11, 28 tons of valuable boxes with vaccines were loaded on board of our IL-76 in Moscow to arrive next day to Caracas, Venezuela.
Both Russian shipper, Human Vaccine, subsidiary of government agency RDIF (The Russian Direct Investment Fund), and Venezuelan Ministry of Public Health were happy to complete this delivery on time during Christmas rush and peak demand for urgent shipments.
Strict compliance with temperature conditions as set by the manufacturer is of crucial importance in air transportation of pharmaceutical products. Pressurized IL76 cargo cabin allows safe airlift of this sensitive shipment during entire flight across Atlantic Ocean.
Aviacon has extensive experience in handling of healthcare and pharmacy goods, as well as strong commitment to supporting humanitarian causes.
Such kind of flights are fully aligned with the airline’s values, and our team look forward to provide seamless and secure air transportation services for the customers.
The list of countries that have recognized and purchased "Sputnik V" keeps on expanding (71 countries as of October 31, 2021).
Aviacon team is pleased and proud to be contributing to the delivery of the vaccine to other nations worldwide.
